BUNKHOUSE TERMS OF BOOKING
Our Terms & Conditions for Booking are provided to ensure we as a hostel can provide a consistently easy, enjoyable and safe experience for all our guests.
Definition of Terms:
us; we – refers to the BunkHouse.
our; ours – refers to anything belonging to the BunkHouse.
You; your; yours – You as an individual BunkHouse customer or as a group.
Lead Guest – refers to the person who’s name and details are used to book with us. The lead guest is responsible for each member listed under their booking, including themselves, and is the person whom we will liaise with for anything in connection to their booking. The lead guest is the person responsible for paying any fees connected to the booking, including deposits and fines. We will not discuss a particular booking with anyone other than the booking’s lead guest.
OTA – Online Travel Agency.
External companies – any other companies not associated with an OTA.
No Shows – No check in for a booking.
OTA Bookings:
OTAs are Online Travel Agents, such as Booking.com, Hostel World, Expedia, and others. Any bookings made via an OTA will be subject to their own terms and conditions.
For more information about your OTA booking, see the reservation details via the OTA website; this will list information such as the rate and policy that your reservation falls under.

Bookings with External Booking Companies
External companies include any other companies not associated with an OTA. These include events and group organisers.
Any bookings made via an external company will be subject to that external company’s terms and conditions as provided by the external company itself.
Direct Bookings with BunkHouse
Bookings made through our own website or with a member of staff via email (info@bnkhseuk.com) will be subject to the terms and conditions below.
ID Verification
Each booking is subject to identity verification. You may be asked to produce a valid form of ID upon arrival, or throughout your stay with us.
Bookings, Deposits, Cancellations and more
You will need to pre-pay for your stay with us via our booking engine MEWS before your arrival. When payment is taken from you is dependend on which rate you make your booking with.
A booking with a fully-flexible rate will only require 100% of payment 5 days from check-in.
A booking with a non-refundable rate will require 100% payment upon booking.
No shows will NOT be entitled to a refund.
We will not accept bookings made by anyone under the age of 18.
If you are booking as part of a school or a family trip, you MUST contact us before booking to ensure we will allow the booking. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone under the age of 18 for their own safety.
In the event of a minor (persons under the age of 18) gaining a key to our premise as part of someone else’s booking, we will terminate the booking immediately and eject all guests connected to the booking without refund.
Late cancellations of bookings will not be entitled to any refund. You will be considered a Late Cancellation if you cancel within 48 hours of check-in.

Refunds & Cancellations:
This section only applies to the deposits for bookings made with the BunkHouse Hostel directly via our website or email.
If you cancel with 8 weeks or more before your check in date, you are entitled to a full refund of your deposit.
If you cancel between 8-4 weeks before your check in date, you are entitled to a 75% refund of your deposit.
A cancellation made with less than 4 weeks before the check in date will be entitled to a 25% refund of your deposit.
Cancellations made within 2 days of the check-in date are classed as Late Cancellations and will not receive a refund of any amount.
Deposits & Fines

Through our policies, booking protocols and security measures, we do our best to ensure all guests are respectful during their stays; however, the BunkHouse (BNKHSE) Hostel takes no responsibility for guests’ behaviour and actions during their stay and therefore cannot be held accountable for any guests actions or behaviour.
